The ruins of an original Japanese colonial era police station remained on this site until they were finally cleared around 2017. Tbe station was relocated after the war and the original building was rented out to Lin Enqiang (林恩墻), who operated the Lin Dental Clinic (林齒科) until passing away in 1991.
