Established in either 1919 or July 1936 as an unranked Shinto shrine (無格社) which was nevertheless the official top-ranking shrine for the area. It was mostly dismantled in the mid-1960s to accommodate an expansion of the nearby school now operating as Jui-Fang Industrial Professional School (新北市立瑞芳高級工業職業學校). A pair of komainu from the shrine can be found outside Longyan Temple (龍巖宮), immediately to the south, and a stone lantern is displayed outside the back (north) entrance to Ruifang Station (瑞芳後火車站). There are reports of additional stone artifacts discarded next to a residence somewhere near the original site but the exact location is unclear. Presumably known as Zuiho-jinja in the original Japanese.
