A small shrine occupying the ground floor of a shophouse in the Tanqian (潭墘) area of Pingtung City. It is dedicated to Shanfu Qiansui (山府千歲), also called General Yamada (山田將軍), the deified spirit of a Japanese pilot. Originally from Osaka and stationed at the nearby Pingtung airfield, he was hit by American fire over the city in 1942 and, rather than bail out over the houses below, is said to have steered his crippled plane toward open ground, perishing in the crash. He is venerated alongside two fellow airmen who died with him, and the altar keeps a model airplane in their memory.
