The ancestral hall of the Guanxi (琯溪) branch of the Zhang family in Nantou City, named for their origin in Guanxi, a town in Pinghe County, Zhangzhou. It was established in 1880 near the present-day Nantou Senior High School and relocated to the present site after a typhoon destroyed the original in 1911. The current plan was laid down during a 1934 reconstruction which introduced Western elements to the design. The hall was severely damaged in the 921 Earthquake and rebuilt with government funding in 2008 after having been registered as a historic building in 2002.
