A 1936 modernist building originally constructed for use by the Nantou Credit Union, which was established in 1914, in Nantou City. The two-storey reinforced brick structure is faced in khaki-coloured scratch tiles and retains its Japanese cultural roof tiles and original wooden windows. It survived the war and was later repurposed for use by the Nantou Farmers’ Association (南投市農會). Damaged in the 921 Earthquake and subsequently restored, it was recognized for its heritage value in 2002.
