A standalone two-storey brick residence built into the hillside at the foot of Xiandong (仙洞) in Zhongshan District, completed around 1949 for a fisherman named Xie Jinshu (謝金樹), who worked his own name into the moulded plasterwork of its stonewashed façade. Financial difficulties led Xie to mortgage the house to the Keelung Port Authority, which took ownership in 1967 and used it as a dormitory for its drivers. Registered as a Keelung historic building in 2019, it now stands vacant, its entrance sealed and the structure sheltered under steel scaffolding since 2020.
