This roadside maintenance depot in Keelung was mainly used by city buses, coach buses, and sanitation trucks over its many years of service. It was decommissioned in 2016 and only used for storage as of 2018, but it wasn’t truly left to the elements until the early 2020s. Although it is now abandoned to the elements there is little of interest left on site, and only really the scale of the place makes for a decent photograph. It was later demolished in 2026.
The view from the street in January 2018.
First glimpse inside the old repair depot in 2023. The characters on the wall prohibit (禁止) something related to fire (火).
Taking the long view at this old bus repair depot. As you can see the site has been cleared of anything of interest.
The jaunty painted stripes really add something to the decaying concrete structure.
Looking west toward the port.
A bunch of fire extinguishers were gathered next to what was probably the office.
Empty and clean, ready for your next rave!
