Keelung Port Workers’ Monument (基隆築港殉職者紀念碑) - Spectral Codex

Monument erected in 1930 to honour the people who died making the modern harbour. Originally the bone ash of the martyrs were stored inside the monument, but this was repatriated to Japan in the aftermath of World War 2. The area also housed staff quarters in Japanese colonial times, later turned into a military village.
