An institutional shrine (構內社) for the nearby sugar factory (月眉製糖所), dedicated to Amaterasu (天照大神) and completed in December 1923. It stood within the factory grounds, behind what is now the factory guesthouse (招待所), a building that occupies the former site of Yuemei Elementary School (月眉小學校). Not much is written about its ultimate fate but it was presumably dismantled in the post-war period. Two komainu remain in front of an office on sugar factory grounds but their origin is disputed and they may have been removed. It was likely known as Tsukimayo-sha in the original Japanese.
