Established in 1948, this wooden theater was built in a Japanese style and still looms over Neiwan Old Street. It was in active operation until 1986. As this former coal mining town experienced a tourism boom the theater was converted into a Hakka restaurant, but this business shut down around 2023, and the future of the theaters has become uncertain.
