A former police station perched on top of Neiwan, an old coal mining town in Hengshan. It was built in 1938, during the Japanese colonial era, on the highest ground in the village to better watch over it, and survived to the modern era, with the police only moving out of the building in 2021. A year later part of the roof collapsed in a storm, and although it has been a designated heritage site since 2006, plans to restore it have been shelved for want of funds.
