A weathered stone monument on the Xikou Terrace (溪口台) in Fuxing, commemorating the irrigation canal completed there in 1928 during the Japanese colonial era. Built over two years of arduous labour by local Tayal villagers under a Japanese policeman named Yamato (大和), the canal turned the terrace into a model district for wet-rice cultivation. Its front inscription was defaced in the post-war era.
