The dilapidated remains of a suspension bridge a river deep in the mountains of Taoyuan. It was constructed in 1910 to facilitate access to Indigenous communities to the east, later under the jurisdiction of Yingshan Police Garrison (鷹山駐在所). Two generations of steel cables remain in place as the bridge was upgraded at some point. It might still be possible to cross with gloves and care but it isn’t advised. Descent to the riverbed also seems possible at this site.
