A post-war fish wholesale market established on what was then the edge of Douliu in 1962. It was built as part of a nationwide push to relocate the trade out of inner city markets as public health standards tightened. Urban growth has long since absorbed the site on Xiping Road (西平路). A covered area next to the main market building was cleared for road widening while the building itself, still showing its cement lattice windows and mosaic tilework, was later converted into a 7-Eleven and more recently a branch of 85°C Bakery Café (85度C).
