Shalun Anti-Aircraft Artillery Base (前空軍防空砲兵沙崙營區) - Spectral Codex
前空軍防空砲兵沙崙營區

A former anti-aircraft artillery base on elevated ground in Shalun Village (沙崙里), Dayuan, close to the coastline. It was originally established as a 35mm rapid-fire battery site under the ROCAF Air Defense Artillery Command (空軍防空砲兵司令部), tasked with defending Taoyuan Air Base. Following the relocation of the 401st Tactical Composite Wing to Hualien the 207th Anti-Aircraft Battalion (空軍防砲第207) took over the compound. The battalion was disbanded on July 1, 2012, part of a Ministry of National Defense force reduction program, and the base has stood idle since. It falls outside the Taoyuan Aerotropolis (桃園航空城) expropriation zone; the Taoyuan City Sports Bureau plans to redevelop the site as a sports and recreation facility.
