Established in 1732, this small yet historic shrine commemorates 18 righteous militiamen (十八義民) who perished fighting Taiwanese Indigenous forces during a 1731 uprising against Qing rule (大甲西社抗清事件). The interior is a simple hall with spirit tablets bearing 18 names on an altar.
