An old land god shrine tracing its origins back to the mid-1700s. It was originally located as the western gate to the walled city of Changhua. The old city walls were dismantled in 1920 but this shrine was spared. Although small in size it still contains several antiques. There are also land god shrines for three other former gates but they’ve all been rebuilt whereas this one retains something of its historic appearance.
