A former station on the Mianyue Line (眠月線), a branch of the Alishan Forest Railway in Alishan, added in 1983 when the line was converted for tourism. At 2,346 meters elevation, the site was marked during the Japanese colonial era by a monument declaring it the highest point on the railway network. The station was destroyed by the 921 Earthquake and has not reopened.
