A station on the Alishan Line (阿里山線) of the Alishan Forest Railway at approximately 2,000 meters elevation in Alishan, established in 1912 and known in Tsou as Hehesiana. Typhoon Morakot badly damaged the roadbed here in August 2009 and the station remained out of service until July 2017. The name is frequently miswritten with the character for the ping (坪), a unit of area, an error that dates back to the Japanese colonial era.
