An unranked Shinto shrine (無格社) high in the mountains of Chiayi County at 2,182 meters elevation. It was established in April 1919 and dismantled after the war, becoming Bo’ai Pavilion (博愛亭). The original visiting path is still found somewhere in the vicinity of the Thousand Year Cypress (千歲檜神木) and Alishan Museum (阿里山博物館). Known as Arisan-jinja in Japanese.
