Former residence of Lô Lâi-siū (羅來受), an important local dignitary and pastor in the Presbyterian church credited for his efforts modernizing the surrounding district. There is also a memorial hall dedicated to him (羅來受紀念館) on the grounds of Zuozhen Presbyterian Church (左鎮教會) a little further south. It has been abandoned for many years now but the stone-washed exterior is still in good condition.
