Initially established as the Wanli Sugar Factory (灣裡製糖所) in 1904. One of two remaining TaiSugar facilities still operating into the 2020s. The site is quite large as it has consolidated the remains of several other sugar factories that have vanished into history. The factory itself is still operational whereas the dormitory area to the west has been mostly converted for leisure and tourism.
