A weathered wooden sanheyuan residence in Houhu Village (後湖村), Yuanchang, Yunlin, where the Xu (許) surname has long been the dominant lineage. Ornate carvings and fine joinery reveal considerable craftsmanship, though the residence is now largely exposed to the elements and in an advanced state of deterioration.
