A historic commercial district in Yingge, known as the ceramics capital of northern Taiwan. Originally home to numerous kilns and factories, the area transformed in the 1990s into a tourist destination with shops selling ceramics ranging from daily wares to art pieces. Not much around here seems genuinely old but it’s nicely maintained and a good family-friendly destination.
