An immense early post-war theater designed by Hsiao Fu-chu (蕭佛助) and completed in 1947. It was built on the site of a former ice factory destroyed by American bombing runs during World War 2. Still in business until around 1999. Demolished in the 2000s. The original structure is still visible in history mode on Google Street View.
