萬里戲院

Not much is known about Wanli Theater (萬里戲院) with certainty, though it seems likely to have been operating in the 1950s, while the coal mines of Wanli were at their peak. It may have been a simple bamboo-walled theater with few permanent features.

Possibly the former site of Wanli Theater, immediately next to the modern kindergarten.

By 1965 it was replaced by Wanli Catholic Church (萬里天主堂), which was later converted into Tianxin Kindergarten (天心幼稚園). The original site may have been what is now a parking lot, with the kindergarten expanding into an adjacent lot when a more modern structure was built at some point, but the details are unclear. In any case, it seems like nothing of this theater survived the passage of years.
