Keelung Octopus Pool (基隆章魚游泳池) - Spectral Codex
基隆章魚游泳池

A former public swimming pool at Waimushan (外木山) built by the government in 1997 and privately operated thereafter. It was famous for its octopus waterslide but fell into disrepair toward the late 2000s as operating costs soared due to frequent seawater intrusion and saltwater corrosion. Eventually it was abandoned for a period of time before the city levelled the site and remade it as a seaside plaza. It was located on the northern coastline of Keelung.
