Seemingly established around 1929, this likely would have been a simple wooden venue for traditional opera and performance. It was plausibly romanized as Eiraku-za in Japanese and may have been named after the more widely known theater of the same name in Taipei. It likely closed around the wartime handover or perhaps early in the post-war period as Tianzhong Theater (田中戲院), established in 1953, is typically described as the only entertainment venue in town.
