This one-room exhibition space beside Lyu-Chuan Canal (綠川) is a shipping container modified to resemble the stilt houses (吊腳樓) that lined the canal from the post-war housing crisis until their demolition in 2010. The Taichung City Water Resources Bureau built it as part of a canal restoration project coordinated with the Taichung Green Space Railway (台中綠空鐵道). Inside, old photographs, a model of the surrounding area, and a documentary recount the canal’s history.
