Built in 1917 as the private residence of a Japanese industrialist. It was repossessed by Changhua Bank in 1937 after a later resident could not repay a loan. After the war it was used as the residence of various executives. Nowadays it remains a private residence, but it was recognized for its heritage value in 2015 and is now protected. Also known more generally as the Changhua Bank Guesthouse (彰化銀行招待所).
