Dingliao Chenghuang Temple (頂寮城隍廟) - Spectral Codex

Formed in 1983 by merging two small shrines for unclaimed spirits when the village relocated inland for industrial development, then reformed as a city god temple. Famous for a folk ritual in which parents leave a child’s clothing and biscuits on the altar alongside bamboo rods, asking the City God for help disciplining unruly children. The practice began in 2007 and has since drawn thousands of visitors each year.
