Dapu

Dapu (大埔) is a remote mountain township in Chiayi County, originally the territory of the Tsou Indigenous people. The Zengwen Reservoir (曾文水庫), completed in 1973, is Taiwan’s largest by storage capacity; its creation made the township’s isolated villages accessible by boat.
