An open-air theater established in 1963 next to a warehouse owned by the local branch of the Fresh Fruit Cooperative (青果合作社). In those days transportation was such that making a trip to Qishan to watch a movie was too much to handle in a working day, but riding a bike over to the local open-air theater made small town entertainment viable. It is memorialized at the nearby Yuantan Farmhouse (圓潭農庒), a family-friendly tourist attraction.
