A modest red brick structure designed to divert water on the grounds of a water purification plant in Nuannuan, Keelung, dating back to 1902. It was part of the design for Keelung Waterworks (基隆水道) developed by Scottish engineer W.K. Burton in 1897. Also known as Nuannuan Water Purification Plant Octagonal Well Building (暖暖淨水場八角井樓). It is not regularly open to the public but can be seen on guided tours of the waterworks.
