A military dependents’ village of approximately 72 households in the Guogang (過港) area of Nuannuan, originally built for employees of the Chinese Fisheries Corporation (中國漁業公司) after the ROC government’s retreat to Taiwan in 1949. Decades of attrition, an ageing population, and unresolved land disputes have left the settlement in an uncertain state, with most original buildings altered beyond recognition and residents gradually moving away.
