The assembly hall of the Taiwan Provincial Training Corps (臺灣省訓練團), which moved to Zhongxing New Village in 1965. It was named Zhongzheng Hall (中正堂) in honor of the recently deceased Chiang Kai-shek. A two-storey red-brick building flanked by white window bands and colonnades, it stands apart from the village’s predominantly modernist buildings. Through successive reorganizations the training body became the Local Government Officials Development Institute (地方行政研習中心), and the hall now serves the National Academy of Civil Service’s Central Training Center (國家文官學院中區培訓中心). It was registered as a historic building in 2011. Public access to the site is uncertain; you would need to inquire at the gatehouse.
