A beautiful post-war hotel in Luodong displaying multiple influences, particularly tropical Art Deco and Moorish Revival, an exceedingly rare sight in Taiwan. It was established in 1950 as Xinxing Hotel (新興大旅社) by Cai Kuanliang (蔡寬諒), an entrepreneur from Sanchong. The name was changed after the business was sold to Wang Nengyu (王能喻). It went out of business in 1971 due to competition with more modern hotels and the decline of the lumber industry. For a period of time it was repurposed for use by Liufu Chinese Medicine Clinic (六褔中醫診).
