A night market wrapped around Zhongshan Park (中山公園) in the center of Luodong, open every night of the year. It grew out of late-night snack stalls serving audiences leaving Lanyang Theater, which stood on what is now the market. The town office reorganized the stalls into a planned layout in the 1990s, and it is now among the busiest commercial districts in Yilan.
