Golden age cinema in Longtan established in the mid-1950s, initially as Xinlong Theater (新龍戲院). Some sources suggest this theater was founded in 1953, others in 1957. Likely operating into the 1990s. Demolished long ago but part of the back wall still stands in an empty lot at the original site.
