Longtan Daping Red Bridge (龍潭大平紅橋) - Spectral Codex
龍潭大平紅橋

A five-arch red brick bridge built in 1923 by villagers of Daping and Sankeng to cross Datiekeng Creek (打鐵坑溪). Glutinous rice water was mixed into the lime mortar to strengthen its durability, earning it the nickname “glutinous rice bridge” (糯米橋). Nowadays it remains well-preserved as a minor tourist attraction.
