Hsinchu Fire Museum (新竹市消防博物館) - Spectral Codex

Completed in 1942, this historic fire hall (新竹合同廳舍) was restored and turned into a museum in 2002. The watchtower, once the tallest structure in the city, saw a lot of use during World War 2, as the city regularly suffered allied air raids. Under restoration as of summer 2025.
