The former district court for Hsinchu in the Japanese colonial era, on a site occupied by a branch of the Taipei court from 1919 and elevated to a full district court in 1938. It was taken over by the ROC government after the war and continued to serve the same purpose until 2017, when the court relocated to a newer building in Zhubei.
