An ornate house built in 1928 by brothers Huang Lu (黃爐) and Huang Shuishun (黃水順) on the southern periphery of Jingliao (菁寮) in Houbi. One of the last remaining Western-style residences in the district, it features a symmetrical five-bay façade with Renaissance revival flourishes and stonewashed gables. It fronts a Minnan-style building behind. The main gable carries the Huang hall name over the date of construction in both Western and Japanese imperial reckoning, alongside the family shop name in roman letters.
