One of two abandoned tunnels on the forest railway serving the Baxianshan Forestry District in Heping District, Taichung. The line closed in 1958 and was dismantled thereafter, with infrastructure like this tunnel left to the elements. Landslides along the riverbank have taken out several sections of the line and a portal can only be found by reaching it from the bed of Dajia River (大甲溪). In the original Japanese the name would have been read Hakumō.
