The second of two derelict tunnels on the forest railway serving the Baxianshan Forestry District in Heping District, Taichung. The line closed in 1958 and was dismantled leaving this tunnel to the elements; it has since become nearly inaccessible but at least one portal can still be founded after scrambling up a steep hillside from the bed of the Dajia River (大甲溪). Its name would have likely carried that of the nearby settlement, Rirei, in the original Japanese.
