Completed in either 1965 or 1966, this was the third in a series of military dependents’ villages sponsored by Soong Mei-ling and built under this name. As with the nearby Luguang No. 2 Village, it was demolished in the early 2000s and rebuilt into a public housing complex (千禧新城國宅社區). Only the former office of the village association remains.
