A former military dependents’ village located in Guishan inaugurated in 1965. It was home to over 1,000 households at its peak. 70 households were allocated for refugees from the Dachen Islands, who were normally sequestered in their own villages. In 2001 the entire community was demolished and rebuilt into a public housing complex (陸光新城國宅社區). Some military equipment is now on display on the south side of the community.
