Remnants of an unfinished Ensuikō Sugar Refining Co., Ltd. (鹽水港製糖株式會社) sugar railway bridge pier over Duzitou Creek (渡子頭溪), part of a planned Shezi Line (社子線) extension from Xinying (新營) along what is now Provincial Highway 119 (南119線). The pier is one of few surviving traces of an unfinished sugar railway in Taiwan, abandoned during World War 2 due to wartime resource shortages.
