Duzitou River Aqueduct Bridge (嘉南大圳渡仔頭溪渡槽橋) - Spectral Codex
嘉南大圳渡仔頭溪渡槽橋

A dual-purpose aqueduct bridge (渡槽橋) over Duzitou Creek (渡仔頭溪), built in 1922 as part of the Jianan irrigation system (嘉南大圳). Originally fitted with railway tracks for transporting sand and gravel to the Wushantou Reservoir (烏山頭水庫) dam site, the tracks were replaced with a reinforced concrete road surface in 1934. The 80 meter plate girder steel bridge carries road traffic above and irrigation water below.
