The last standalone theater to be built in Dounan, likely established in the 1960s as Yuanhe Theater (源和戲院). It was later renamed Dongxing Theater (東興戲院) in either 1974 or 1985 (depending on which calendar is used), possibly as a result of upgrading the facilities or a change in ownership. It was located in the vicinity of Dounan Market (斗南市場) and left abandoned for many years after its closing. Demolished sometime in the 2000s and replaced by residential units.
